Legal Lead for UK & Germany and Head of Business Development for Germany Legal: End-to-end legal oversight across UK and German operations, from contracts and regulatory compliance to M&A and CLM implementation. Strategic Operations: Driving complex commercial and corporate transactions across UK and German markets, translating executive strategy into structured, cross-functional execution. Business Development (Germany): Leading market expansion and C-suite relationships, with full ownership of pipeline, investment planning, and a BD team.
Legal advisor for the United Kingdom and Germany; Leading the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements (concession, distribution, marketing and service agreements). Strategic advisor to the Interim Country Managers in both countries with involvement in operations. Key Account Management Negotiation of an equity stake deal for a brand in England and preparation for the exit of a company in a leading European market. Working closely with the international legal team to ensure pan-European consistency in legal framework agreements and risk assessment. Advising on employment law (TUPE), insurance, leases and franchise agreements, advertising campaigns, ASA issues, competition disputes and consumer complaints. Oversight of corporate compliance, including board minutes, GDPR, CSR and insurance. Liaising between cross-country functions such as Finance and HR for Germany.
Collaborated with the Head of Corporate Law and Head of M&A, including managing the corporate secretariat. Served as the point of contact for the Regional Head of Legal Departments and PE Investor on group matters. Oversaw the litigation reports and group structure and supported legal operations and GDPR compliance, including implementing intra-group data transfer processes.
Working as part of the LTS Team on matters such as; - the inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's response to Child sexual abuse in institutional settings - discovery related to a class action against a financial institution. In general terms, the class action alleges that the Accrued Default Amounts in the relevant super fund were not transferred as soon as reasonably practicable. The alleged delay is said to result from a breach of the super trustees' statutory and general law duties, including duties to act in members' best interests. - supporting several other projects. At Corrs, I engaged in the Ardoch Literacy Buddy program.
Subject facilitator for academic writing as part of the Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP). This subject is designed to teach students how to write an academic essay, including how to analyse and utilise research.
