About

With a dual background in Life Sciences and Information Technology, I thrive at the intersection of disciplines -- connecting people, ideas, and technologies across domains. I bring a customer-focused mindset and a strong drive to uncover and address real, underlying needs. As a trained biologist specializing in bioinformatics for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), I’ve spent over a decade analyzing and interpreting genomic, transcriptomic, and microbiome data in both academic and industrial settings. This hands-on scientific experience laid the foundation for my transition into product management, where I shaped NGS analytics software to better serve researchers and clinicians. Today, I lead business development for life science software products and services -- translating complex technologies into meaningful value for customers and partners. I have a strong publication record, international work experience, and fluency in both English and German. And yes -- limited working proficiency in Swabian. :-)
