I lead R&D for the CellScape platform at Bruker Corporation, working at the intersection of spatial biology, imaging, and assay development. My background spans academic neuroscience through to multiple spatial platform launches in industry, including at Akoya Biosciences. I maintain active research interests and have authored 40+ publications across imaging, neuroscience, and cancer biology. My focus today is straightforward: turning complex spatial biology into data that are quantitative, reproducible, and usable. Not just more measurements. Better ones. This requires tight integration across assay design, imaging systems, and analysis workflows, as well as a constant feedback loop with real-world applications and scientific collaborators. I believe the field is at an inflection point. Discovery has accelerated. But the next phase will be defined by trust in the data. The demand for systems that are standardized, interpretable, and scalable is clear. That’s where my focus lies: building platforms that move beyond exploration and can be relied upon where it matters most - in the clinic.
Implemented spatially-resolved CODEX and MERFISH - omics technologies - for discovery and translational research studies at Cedars Sinai.
Developed polymalic nanodrugs for targeting the central nervous system.
Developed optogenetic toolkits for minimally-invasive control and imaging of neural networks.
