Experienced Operation Manager skilled in international transportation (airfreight, ocean freight, trucking), freight forwarding (brokerage, vendor/ supplier management) and supply chain solutions (spare part logistics/ post sales services, local pick-up/delivery and IOR/EOR).
Responsible for managing the operation of more than 4,000,000 CBMs throughput volumes, 40,000 truck moves per year at 03 warehouse facilities (62,000 sqms), 25 in-house headcounts and more than 350 outsourced staffs intra Vietnam. - Team leadership and development - Operation excellence. - Performance monitoring and reporting - Compliance and regulatory oversight - Network optimization - Cost management and budgeting - Risk management and contingency planning - Vendor management and relationship building - Technology integration - Customer engagement and satisfaction - Report to Managing Director - VCM Cluster (Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar) - Perform legal representative role on business license of APL Logistics Vietnam Co., Ltd - Participate in the business planning committee and BCP Committee.
Responsible for managing the operation of freight forwarding (airfreight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, trucking) and contract logistics services (service part logistics/loan and demo management/ post sales services, IOR/EOR) intra Vietnam country, included: - Operational procedure/work instruction development, risk identification and KPI management. - New customers and project implementation. - Procurement procedure and carriers/ service providers relationship management - SCS products portfolio implementation, improvement and management. - Pricing, revenue management and solution delivery. - Revenue growth strategy for annual business/ budget plan. - Profit and Loss Owner. - Immediate Report to Vice President – Freight Forwarding – South APAC - Indirect Report to Director – Contract Logistics – APAC.
