Hey, I'm Olga. I’m a content creator, editor, and marketer for B2B. I help tech companies build meaningful connections with their audience through relatable, genuine brand stories. IMO, a business with a ‘face’ and a human touch has stronger staying power. Humans need all things human—getting help, practical advice, sensing that people are invested in the situation, not feeling dumb when dealing with complex or difficult things, and feeling empowered and good about themselves. Business messaging can be like this. “Duh, captain!” Despite its obviousness, the opposite—high-brow corporate speak, marketing fluff, generalizations, vague concepts—is still around. Been there, done that too. That’s OK. Great fodder for skill-honing. Anyway, I’m on a mission to change that. Enter human-centered content. We lived in Fergana, Uzbekistan. I was nine. Maybe it was my elder brother's German language homework or my aunt’s ability to engage kids. I remember a neatly lined notebook where I jotted down several words in German, which my aunt dictated to me. Living in Uzbekistan meant I had to learn Uzbek at school. Next, I learned Latvian since we moved to Latvia. When my school English lessons started, I got ah-bsessed. To master the language, I did it all—from mimicking CNN news hosts to deciphering song lyrics by ear from a tape recorder. And reading cover-to-cover every English magazine I could get my hands on. And creating stories with new vocabulary. Fast forward a few decades, and here I am still obsessed—now with creative language application. ---- I do best: - Write copy that grabs attention, persuades, and gets results - Break down complex business and tech topics so they click with the audience - Test out ideas and tweak the copy to boost conversion rates - Optimize the copy to rank better in searches using data - Keep the content smooth, cohesive, on point with business goals, and true to the brand - Team up with different departments, juggling priorities and keeping workloads balanced - Make sure content creation efforts align with marketing goals - Guide content teams with feedback and coaching, and keep projects on track On the hunt for a resourceful content pro?
