I am passionate about technology that genuinely improves people’s lives. At Nedap, that means helping build secure, reliable, and responsible technology in domains where trust matters. As CISO, I lead Nedap’s information security strategy and align security practices with business goals, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and the way Nedap works. My background in software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and healthcare SaaS helps me stay connected to the technical reality behind security decisions. I enjoy bridging worlds that do not always speak the same language. I work with developers on architecture, automation, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, cloud and hybrid platforms, and operational resilience. I also work with auditors, executives, customers, and board members on risk, compliance, continuity, digital resilience, and trust. Security is often seen as a constraint. I see it differently. Done well, security helps organizations move with confidence. It gives teams clear boundaries, better insight, and stronger foundations for innovation. I am especially interested in cybersecurity, healthcare technology, SaaS, digital sovereignty, open source, sustainable technology, and the practical leadership needed to make complex systems trustworthy.

Nedap is a manufacturer of intelligent technological solutions for relevant themes. Sufficient food for a growing population, clean drinking water throughout the world, smart network sustainable energy are just a couple of examples of themes Nedap is working on.
Both SSI Dive Control Specialists and PADI Divemasters are the jacks of all trades in dive shops. I have taught Scuba Skills Update programs, Discover Scuba programs, lead divers and assisted on dive courses.
MOvE is a young, innovative company. Its goal is to help artists, musicians and labels. MOvE developed an online application to help artists to create their own website, webshop and get in touch with "the industry". I designed the full technical basis and background of the system.
