Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany
Born and raised in the Swiss Alps, I began my career in Germany and have worked across both public broadcasters and private media companies, always at the intersection of creative development, production and strategy. Over the years, I built companies, developed teams, produced award-winning formats and managed brands for leading production houses such as Fremantle, Eyeworks/Warner, ZDF and Bavaria Entertainment, serving as CEO, channel manager and executive producer. During that time, I also established Eyeworks Switzerland and, with its locally produced formats, played a key role in the successful growth of the Swiss 3+ TV network. From the very beginning, change management has been a defining part of my work. In an industry that constantly reinvents itself, I’ve learned to translate transformation into culture, building teams that embrace change rather than fear it. Whether scaling a company from eight to 250 people or navigating mergers and acquisitions, I’ve seen that lasting success comes from combining structure with curiosity, strategy with trust. That mindset has shaped every phase of my career and continues to guide how I lead today. One of my proudest development achievements: creating Bares für Rares (Cash or Trash / The Bidding Room) for ZDF, one of Germany’s most successful TV exports. In 2018, I co-founded Fabiola Germany with Belgian producers Woestijnvis, De Mensen, Lecter Media and my partner Ina Balint-Eck to focus on developing projects from the first idea to their final realization. Since 2026, we are proudly part of the Caviar and Roses are Blue family. I believe: without emotion, content is just noise. Real success isn’t measured by spreadsheets, it’s built by people, ideas and the courage to create.
Roses are Blue GmbH is the German production company formed by the Belgian film and television producers Roses are Blue and Caviar together with Oliver Fuchs and Ina Balint-Eck. Since founding Fabiola GmbH in 2018, we have had the opportunity to build a German production company in close creative exchange with three founder-led European production houses. What started as a partnership has grown into a stronger international structure. With the formation of Roses are Blue GmbH in 2026, we are bringing together what already belonged together: independent producers, directors and creatives with a shared ambition to create across borders. We believe that in an industry moving faster, expanding across more platforms and becoming more international every year, creative companies need both independence and scale. Roses are Blue GmbH stands for exactly that: a producer-led company with German market knowledge, European creative exchange and the ambition to develop and produce formats, factual entertainment, comedy, reality and scripted content for audiences beyond one territory.
In 2017 I managed the merger with the German production house Wellenreiter.tv under the roof of Bavaria Entertainment with the aim to strengthen the operations in an increasingly competitive environment. As Executive Director of the newly formed company Bavaria Entertainment my main focus is on managing the brand, developing and creating content for all media and to further strengthen the position in the market. Our Company is an award winning German TV production company that produces and distributes entertainment content for a variety of broadcast networks and other distribution platforms. With its headquarters in Cologne, Bavaria Entertainment was founded in 2002 and it operates as a subsidiary of Bavaria Film GmbH founded in 1919.
Heading Bavaria Entertainment I attach great importance to independently developing formats within a creative team of professionals and to elaborate ideas while being able to resort to a vast network of international partners. Bavaria Entertainment has its headquarters in Munich and Cologne, the company was founded in 2002 and it operates as a subsidiary of Bavaria Film GmbH founded in 1919. We have a strong reputation for the production of highly entertaining prime time shows such as the internationally successful science quiz “Nature’s Best Inventions” as well as other formats such as docutainment, factuals, music specials and comedy. We consistently provide programs that inform, inspire and always entertain.
Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen ZDF, is a public-service German television broadcaster based in Mainz. It is run as an independent non-profit institution, which was founded by the German federal states. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 ZDF was Germanys #1 network. As head of entertainment, I oversaw development and production of all light entertainment programs of ZDF, working closely with the board of the channel and specially: - Restructured entertainment department with clear workflow models - Designated clear point of contacts for creatives and industry - Developed a global network strategy with creative alliances - Initiated process of repositioning show and entertainment genres of channel - Established new development and online department - Implemented format sales and acquisition on industrial standards - Developed new shows in additional genres: sitcoms e.g. "Ellerbeck", comedy e.g. "Die Anstalt", "Sketch History" factual e.g. the format "Bares für Rares" (Cash or Trash), the top daytime factual entertainment show in Germany I announced my voluntary resignation as Head of Entertainment effective by the End of July 2014. This was not an easy decision to make, the past one and half years have been very rewarding. I've enjoyed working for ZDF and managing a dedicated editorial team enthusiastic to fresh entertainment within a tough TV environment.

Since its inception in 2003, Eyeworks Germany has produced a wide variety of formats for all major German TV-channels. As MD I was running the former RTL/Sturm/Eyeworks JV from 2004 on expanding the company to the Eyeworks Germany Group. This period was characterized by the company's activities to further internationalize the operative business and by the the full integration of Eyeworks NL as shareholder.
In 2009 Eyeworks Switzerland is the newest branch within the Eyeworks Germany group that opened its offices in January 09. For Switzerland's biggest commercial television channel, 3+, Eyeworks Switzerland produced i.e. the original Eyeworks ranking show The 10, and two of the channel’s most successful reality series "Farmer, Single, Seeks", "Kitchennightmares" and the Warner Hit Format "The Bachelor".
