Oded Turgeman is an entrepreneur, TV creator, and business executive with multiple entertainment ventures under his belt. He graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School and the American Film Institute’s prestigious directors’ program to found The Operating Room, where he has made deals with Dreamworks, Fox, Paramount, Technicolor, Wild Brain, and others. In 2020, he co-founded New Legend Entertainment, which teamed up with Meitav, one of the largest institutional funds in Israel, to invest in content both in Israel and the US. Through New Legend, he co-founded an Israel-based accelerator program in association with Netflix, Disney+, HBO, A+E Studios, and ZDF (Germany). As a consultant, he previously served as the Director of Business Development (North America) for the Jerusalem Development Authority. In that role, Oded established the annual Hop, Skip and a Jump animation workshop, which brought high-profile industry executives to Jerusalem and helped propel the local animation industry, and a live-action TV development lab for Israeli creators.
