Visit Aramco Site Determine that Subcontractors are HSE Compliance according to the CSM. Manage and control Sub contractors. Do Audits every 9 months. Identify critical areas.Do SBOI’s. Provide Support and training were needed to Subcontractor's Discuss shortfalls and improvements with the contractor safety representative. Write safety reports weekly, monthly and quarterly. Hold Safety Meetings, discuss PSI. Update weekly HSE dashboard, update contractor’s figures. Make sure all documents ( HIP HAZOP CSSP JSA ) are in place and to Aramco CSM requirements. Do Incident Investigation. Do Office and Site inspections and write reports. Monitor Contractor and assist during Hot Tapping on the Shaybah Pipeline.
Manage and control Safety for all stages of the offshore project during upgrade phase for the J- tubes to be installed on the Simian control platform. Monitor all personal and Fire Watchers during work on the platform. Conduct toolbox talks before startup in the morning. Do risk assessments before new tasks are undertaken. Discuss shortfalls and improvements with the client safety representative. Organize weekly safety drills (fire and evacuation). Keep statistics on accidents and incidents. Conduct incidents and accident investigations. Write Incidents reports. Write weekly safety reports. Report directly to the Project Manager and to HSOG.
I have worked for Saipem through Bold Marine on the Scarabeo 7 Upgrade. As Health and Safety Officer my duties were the following: • Monitor all Subcontractors, Safety Observers ,Fire Watchers and Tank Guards. • Report directly to Saipem Safety Manager. • Manage all aspects in compliance with South African legislation. • Audit Permits to Work and monitor PTW for different contractors. • Audit permits and safety documents. • Assist with fire and emergency drills. • Write Daily reports. • Do investigation were required.
We are working on the Sedco 702 from Transocean. The Vessel is undergoing repairs and upgrading in the TNPA in Saldanha. • Promotion of Safety throughout all stages of project activities and all levels of personnel during restoration/maintenance phase. •Overall responsibility for all induction training –including confined spaces •Monitor Safety Observers ,Fire Watchers and Tank Guards. •Report directly to Senior Safety Manager. •Manage all aspects in compliance with South African legislation. •Attend Permits to Work meetings and monitor PTW for different contractors. •Assist Riggers in safe lifting operations.(heavy lifts included).
