Hi, my name is Nyla Mitchell. I am an Honors Scholar and Biology major at Norfolk State University from Brooklyn, NY. Aspiring to become a forensic scientist, I am pursuing Biology as my undergraduate degree, with plans to continue my education earning my master's in Forensic Science. My love and passion for this field is rooted in my commitment to justice and serving my community. This extends beyond just the classroom, as in the 2024–2025 academic year I have taken on the roles of Freshman Class Vice President, Freshman Cabinet Executive Administrator, and a Campus Advancement Committee Member — all while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and being a Dean’s List scholar. As a first-generation college student, I look forward to taking advantage of every opportunity I am privileged to. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to connecting soon!
