Mythical Games is a next-generation game technology studio. Mythical believes that true ownership of digital assets, verifiable scarcity, and integrated secondary markets will spawn a new generation of games. These new economies, based on digital ownership, will bring players, developers, and content creators closer to the games they love. In this capacity, I was: - Responsible for building and leading the talent acquisition function for Mythical Games - A strategic and trusted partner and advisor to leadership, hiring managers, people partners, and cross-functional teams - A people leader responsible for an amazing team of 15; inclusive of 10 full-time employees(including people managers) and 5 dedicated contractors & RPO staff Notable accomplishments include: - Leading Mythical’s talent acquisition function through multiple raise rounds: - Series A(Dec. 2020 - $20M @ $100M valuation) - Series B(Jun. 2021 - $75M @ $430M valuation) - Series C(Sept. 2021 - $150M @ $1.25B valuation) - Scaling Mythical from 35 employees when I joined to 300+ by the time I left - Grew the talent acquisition team from a 0->1 function to a team of 15, aligning with the hypergrowth nature of the organization - Our team successfully achieved a global average time to fill of 47 days while maintaining a 90%+ offer-to-acceptance ratio in an incredibly competitive market
Talent Acquisition is on a mission to question the conventional, challenge the traditional, and ultimately rewrite our rule book on how we bring the best people in the world home to Blizzard. Successfully recruiting within a passionate and creative environment takes a blend of listening and responsiveness, and an appreciation for the artistic temperament and gaming culture in general. I've been fortunate here at Blizzard to fully embrace one of our core values of 'Think Globally' by relocating to The Hague, Netherlands. In this capacity, I: - Was promoted to lead the Talent Acquisition function for all regions outside of North America. - Relocated to The Hague, Netherlands on a fixed-term contract to build out new International HQ and focus on expanding overall International TA team, capabilities, best practices, and processes. - Led a team of managers and individual contributors across multiple timezones - Partnered with HR and Business Leaders in workforce planning strategies. - Established Talent Acquisition process for International HQ while enhancing the collaboration across the regions.
Enabling the talent acquisition team to do what they do best...and that is to recruit the very best talent for Blizzard Entertainment! In this capacity, I: - Constructed and led Blizzard's Global Talent Acquisition Operations organization - People leader responsible for a team of people managers as well as individual contributors. - Reported directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition - Implemented and standardized TA processes creating a consistent(where applicable) and efficient process across the globe. - Developed Talent Acquisition Reporting function that delivered on producing measurable and actionable talent acquisition metrics utilized by HR, TA, and Business leaders. - Established Talent Acquisition Marketing function responsible for driving talent attraction efforts. - Led the full-scale global ATS implementations of Avature and Jobvite(from Taleo) with connections to core HR systems (Oracle Fusion -> Workday)
CA Technologies is an IT management software and solutions company with expertise across all IT environments—from mainframe and physical to virtual and cloud. CA Technologies manages and secures IT environments, enabling our customers to deliver more flexible IT services. In this capacity, I: - Was promoted to build out and lead the first Talent Acquisition Operations organization at CA Technologies. - Reported directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition as part of the TA leadership team. - Directly managed a team of 10+ inclusive of managers and individual contributors. - Led the global implementations of new TA technologies such as SuccessFactors, Findly, and Avature. - Maintained the Americas P&L. - Partnered with Americas TA Director & HR Director on monthly, quarterly, and year ending governance reviews. - Ensured talent acquisition delivery met SLA and KPI standards with a heavy emphasis on customer satisfaction measured by NPS (Net Promoter Score Survey) and presented during monthly and quarterly KPI governance meetings.
In this capacity, I: • Collaborated with Recruitment Relationship Manager and Hiring Managers to identify current and prospected hiring needs, plan for talent acquisition strategies, and build top talent pipelines. • Recruited for Consultants, Architects, Project & Program Managers, Practice Directors and Regional VPs across North America that specialized in the enterprise IT space • Specialized in creatively building diverse passive candidate pipelines through cold calling, Boolean Search, Market Mapping, Research, and niche forums • Managed 20-30 job requisitions simultaneously • Implementation of RPO programs in EMEA (August 2010), APJ (April 2011) and LATAM (April 2012). Responsible for all areas of the implementation process from discovery to go-live and support.
