At NY Friends of Haiti 2010 (NYFOH), we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for community advancement. It opens doors, expands opportunities, and helps individuals reach their full potential, regardless of their social or economic circumstances. Our mission is to empower under-resourced communities by expanding access to education, technology, food security, financial literacy, women’s empowerment, healthcare, and essential community resources. Through these programs, we help individuals and families build stability, improve well-being, gain practical skills, and move toward self-sufficiency. NYFOH is committed to lifting communities without creating dependency. We provide support that strengthens people’s capacity, dignity, health, and long-term independence. We achieve this mission through strong partnerships with local community-based organizations, corporations, foundations, healthcare providers, and public agencies that share our commitment to sustainable impact. Through education, economic empowerment, food access, healthcare support, technology, and collaboration, NYFOH works to build stronger communities and create pathways to a healthier, brighter, and more independent future.
