I’m a Mobile Engineering Director building and scaling global fintech, AI-powered, and automated trading products. I lead mobile teams shipping mission-critical features for millions of users on high-volume financial platforms, combining strong technical judgment with a product mindset and a focus on reliability, speed, and user experience. I enjoy scaling high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and driving cross-functional execution across engineering, product, design, and business. Head of Mobile Engineering. Responsible for building GXS Bank's mobile apps and SDKs. • Led and expanded the Mobile Engineering team from 1 to 40 members within 2 years, reporting directly to the CTO. • Defined and executed technical strategies, deliverables, and milestones to build GXS Bank’s mobile apps from the ground up, in close collaboration with Business, Product, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and seamless execution. • Successfully launched GXS mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, establishing a strong foundation to serve millions users across Southeast Asia. • Integrated GXS Bank experiences into Grab and Singtel Dash apps through mobile SDKs, expanding product reach and customer base. • Spearheaded multi-million-dollar contracts with external vendors for mobile engineering resources, tools, and infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient solutions. • Collaborated with regulators and external security vendors such as VKey and GuardSquare to enhance the security of GXS Bank’s mobile apps, ensuring compliance and safeguarding sensitive customer data. • Fostered a culture of transparency and innovation by heading weekly team meetings, biweekly 1:1s, monthly innovation days, and company-wide hackathons.
Responsible for the Virtual Tour 3D System project for the Singapore Innovation Center. • Led the engineering team to design, build, and deliver the Virtual Tour 3D system. • Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to align engineering efforts with project goals and ensure successful delivery.
• Designed and developed internal iOS apps and frameworks to support tour experiences and proof-of-concept projects. • Established iOS coding standards, best practices, and the code review process, ensuring consistency and quality across regional engineering teams. • Provided technical consulting for VISA's clients and partners through Co-creation sessions, offering tailored solutions to meet business needs.
