Project Overview: Planned and executed an Active Directory migration project in Azure by building parallel environments (existing & new domain controllers), performing domain controller demotion/promotion, and securely transferring FSMO roles. Key Responsibilities: Provisioned infrastructure via Azure Portal: Built all required Windows Server 2019-2025 VMs for both source (existing) and target (new) AD environments. Configured VNet, subnets, NSG, VNet Peering, and custom DNS settings to ensure domain resolution and replication. Promoted new VM to Domain Controller, joined to existing forest for trust testing. Performed domain controller demotion on legacy DC and promotion of new DC using GUI and PowerShell. Successfully migrated FSMO roles (Schema Master, RID, PDC, etc.) using NTDSUTIL and PowerShell. Verified domain services, replication health, and DNS functionality post-migration. Documented all steps, validation results, and DNS/role configurations for internal use in Japanese.
Project Overview: Led the full cycle of an Exchange Server 2019 Configuration validation in Azure, from initial infrastructure setup and prerequisite preparation to configuration, testing, and documentation using both GUI and CLI methods. Key Responsibilities: Designed and deployed a test environment in Microsoft Azure, including: ⦁ Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) ⦁ Exchange Server 2019 Mailbox Server ⦁ Edge Transport Server ⦁ Client Server Provisioned and configured Azure components: VNet, NSG, VNet Peering, custom DNS, Windows Server 2019-2025, and region-appropriate VMs. Prepared and installed all prerequisites based on Microsoft’s official documentation: ⦁ .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2012/2013, Unified Communications Managed API, IIS components, and Exchange Server 2019 CU15. ⦁ Automated Windows features and role setup via PowerShell. Created a new Active Directory forest/domain, tested login and trust relationships. Installed Exchange Server 2019on Mailbox server and verified access to Exchange Admin Center (EAC) via browser. Becoming a software developer, also known as a computer programmer, we playing a key role in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems. The programs we create are likely to help businesses be more efficient and provide a better service. I have been working in IT Web Development Company from Japan nearly 4 years. I had an opportunity to work in teams and independently. I am very comfortable in both the environments. I have developed Client/Server website, involving full life cycle, which includes Requirement Phase, Analysis/Design, Development, Unit Testing, Integrating Testing, Customer/User Testing, and Rollout / Implementation.
