• Leading one of Fortum's Startup venture under the Valkea Growth Club (https://valkea.club/hiven) within Energy Demand Response / Distributed Energy Resources / Demand Side Flexibility together with Jani Leirimaa, Lars Herre, and Philip Rosberg • Vetting as well as amending clauses in NDAs, Contracts, and Tenders relating to Solution Delivery & Resilience, SLAs, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity. • Business Owner, Product Owner, and Development/Support Lead of the SmartPort Solution targeted at Port Facilities • Achievements in SmartPort: cost-reductions of 64% after first 12-months, 41% increase in annual revenue from 2nd year. Conclusion is that since taking ownership of the SmartPort portfolio, a loss-making business for Fortum was made profitable. Fortum has since divested from SmartPort and it has been sold onward to Weasel Software.
• L2 Regional Shift Lead of Risk Management Group's DevOps unit leading L1 staff based in India and Philippines • Reporting to local and Sydney based managers, and cultivating relationships with Business Product Owners as well as Technical Platform Owners on ongoing tasks, incidents, change requests, development roadmaps, and support requests across all Divisions with the Risk Management Group (Credit, Compliance, Market Risk, Internal Audit, OpRisk) • Develop, Cultivate, and Share necessary knowledge to support more than 25 Java-based web-applications with American, Australian, Filipino, and Indian L1, L2, and L3 counterparts • Writing up Application Recovery Procedures in case of Disaster Recovery events • Partake in Business Continuity Planning exercises • Interview talent for L1 and L2 RMG DevOps

This includes the XML-based WSDL creation. • Development, JUnit-testing and maintenance of Java based software components complying with the Maven 2.0 framework via the XML-based POM and creation of builds (snapshots and releases) from an Apache Continuum CI server to Seamless' own internal Sonatype Nexus repository • Designing solutions for new features requested by customers and implementing them • Writing documents targeted for users, testers, and administrators • Creating materials and using them for training customers and testers on using the solutions, as well as demoing them to sales staff and potential customers • Setup, installation, and deployment of the solution running on RedHat Enterprise Linux including the MySQL database and Application Server • Serving as a 3rd Line Support member for the Customer Operations division with the aim of troubleshooting issues experienced by customers (for example, a report containing what the customer believes to be incorrect turnover information; or the client-software refusing to connect to the central server and perform transactions), discovering workarounds to help customers achieve their objectives, figuring out the details to make an issue re-producible in order to write up bug reports and deliver it to the Development Lead for consideration in the future product roadmap • Updating company's website as requested by the Marketing and/or Sales department and providing internal IT Support to a limited extent
• Deployment of the Electronic Refill System to Seamless’ clients which runs on RedHat Enterprise Linux and includes a MySQL database as well as an Application Server • Provision of Product & Customer Support and Training to Seamless’ clients as well as to Seamless' Support and QA divisions • Updating the company's website and providing IT Support internally within Seamless • Writing and executing test-cases to uncover bugs and validate functionality • Eliciting requirements from customers and writing end-user documentation • 1st Line Support member delivering Customer & Product Support with the aim of troubleshooting issues experienced by customers, discovering workarounds to help customers achieve their objectives, figuring out the details to make an issue re-producible in order to write up bug reports for the Development Team to address • Implementing new reports as requested by customers • Assisting third-party developers to integrate their system to Seamless' solution • Highlights: o Solution delivery of a Vending Machine based requirement by Starlink Qatar to not only sell GSM prepaid top-up vouchers but to also pay for them using the Dialect Card Payment gateway. o POS Integration assistance towards 7Eleven Thailand, 7Eleven Sweden, Shell Sweden, among others o Discovery workshop of MTN Iran's needs and drafting a proposed technical solution onsite to meet their needs.
