I am a biology graduate with interests in drug design and delivery system, microbiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and infectious disease research. My academic and research experiences have provided me with hands-on skills in molecular diagnostics, laboratory techniques, and computational biology. Beyond the laboratory, I enjoy mentoring students and contributing to research and educational initiatives. I am passionate about applying science to develop innovative solutions for public health challenges. I am always open to opportunities for research collaboration, professional growth, and lifelong learning.
Experienced in plant extraction and bioactivity analysis, including ethanolic maceration, qualitative phytochemical screening, DPPH antioxidant assay via UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and antimicrobial testing using the disk diffusion method against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa. Skilled in microbial media preparation and aseptic laboratory techniques.
Experienced in performing qualitative biochemical analyses, including protein, enzyme, carbohydrate, and lipid tests (e.g., Ninhydrin, Biuret, Molisch, Benedict, and Seliwanoff), as well as enzyme activity under varying pH, temperature, and substrate concentrations.
Conducted in silico study on bioactive compounds of Dayak Onion (Eleutherine bulbosa Mill.) as potential InhA inhibitors for tuberculosis, involving molecular docking, virtual screening, ADMET analysis, and molecular dynamics simulation using PyRx, AutoDock Vina, Discovery Studio, SwissADME, and pkCSM.
Under supervision, performed molecular and microbiological analyses of sputum samples, including Ziehl–Neelsen staining and DNA extraction for Mycobacterium tuberculosis detection. Under supervision, conducted RNA extraction and RT-qPCR analysis for the detection and confirmation of SARS-CoV-2. Under supervision, performed HPV DNA detection from urine samples using the CerviScan HPV-hr multiplex PCR kit, and interpreted PCR amplification curves to identify high-risk HPV genotypes.
Oversaw departmental work programs, addressed campus issues, and initiated public forums to strengthen student advocacy efforts.
Led a national essay webinar and the BISTEC Biology Essay Competition with participation from over 20 universities and 63 teams.
Promoted sustainability-related programs, events, and campaigns through various communication channels. Assisted in building partnerships and maintaining positive relationships with communities, organizations, and institutions.
