Nuno Barboza is a Senior Global Executive focused on driving Digital Transformation & Strategic Leadership, helping organizations achieve their business goals by creating a competitive advantage through the combination of Innovation, Digital, Data, Technology and Talent. Across his 30+ year career, Nuno had the opportunity to lead IT strategy for startups up to Fortune 500 market leaders in medical devices, healthcare, mining, insurance, and construction sectors, as well as becoming the CEO of BI4ALL, a technology company focused on Data, Analytics & AI. Nuno's work and leadership roles span across the globe. He was based in different countries in Europe, Brazil and the United States, where he and his team supported growth across multibillion-dollar enterprises by developing and executing complex IT strategies and large-scale transformation. As a global corporate leader, he also has deep experience with M&A, corporate development, and board-level collaboration. Before his role as BI4ALL CEO, Nuno’s work included leading the technology strategy supporting an $82B business and 135K global employees as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Deployment for the Technology Group at Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, Nuno served as CIO for the North American Medical Devices division, where his team executed a $400M program to deliver all technology-related efforts for $1.3B transformation program. As part of his last role Nuno represented Johnson & Johnson both at MIT and Gartner Research Boards. Previously, Nuno served in several international leadership roles including CIO of the Medical Devices division in EMEA, Worldwide IT Director for Ethicon Commercial Operations, and Regional IT director positions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this time, Nuno led sustainability efforts across EMEA as the executive sponsor. Regardless of his role, Nuno works to build engaged and inclusive work cultures by creating high-growth environments. Nuno has a tremendous passion for talent development, diversity & inclusion, social contribution and sustainability. Before returning back to Europe in 2022, Nuno also served as the President of the Board of the Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity organization in the United States.

Lead the Strategy & Deployment Technology Group that supports Johnson & Johnson globally. This role partners with different leaders across J&J to better enable the success of our overall technology function. By having new technology solutions, embracing new ways of working and operate as a digital organization, we can unlock the power of data and insights, improve decision making, provide better employee and customer experiences, and accelerate business outcomes. This role provides thought leadership, brings an external view, connects the dots across the company by providing visibility / insights across the different parts of the organization, and develop services & capabilities to help J&J to lead in the Digital world. This role reports to the Enterprise CIO, runs the Office of the CIO associated responsibilities, and is part of the Technology Executive Leadership Team of Johnson & Johnson.
Nuno was responsible for driving the IT strategy for the Medical Devices business within North America with approximately $11 billion in revenue. He oversaw the development of the IT function throughout the region, and he collaborated with all critical stakeholders to define a technology roadmap that maximized business value. In this role Nuno became a member of the Medical Devices North America Board, the Global IT Senior Leadership Team for Medical Devices, and the J&J North America IT Council.
