Manage large scale New Product Development Programs within the Transcatheter Heart Valve Division across Edwards global engineering and manufacturing sites. Focus on Pulmonic valve applications to help treat pediatric and adult patients with severe pulmonary regurgitation and dysfunctional RVOT. Responsible for driving product release cycles through PDP, from concept selection to market, distributing to our global customer regions. Overall responsibility for all program financials, release forecasts, resources and quality. Successfully led the team through regulatory body approvals including an FDA PMA and IDE approval, and CE Mark receipt through European product launches. Ownership of a PMO with focus on continuous improvement initiatives and speed of innovation
Increased responsibility to include the Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Power sector, with oversight of New Construction, Upgrade Valve and Component. Management of Project Management, Project Documentation and Project Coordination teams based out of California, Houston, India and Brazil. An active member of the attemperator diagnostics foresight team targeting new growth areas within our internal accelerator environment. Headed the local implementation of IFS across the Americas sites with project super-user responsibilities. Local deployment lead for the current ongoing ERP upgrade assignment. Became a member of the Global PM team working to standardize and develop processes across the IMI Critical division with key focus on milestone and gate reviews, CORB protocol, GM and cost to complete, lessons learnt and cash management. Implemented risk registers, progress billing and document management tracking tools within the group. Represent the Project Management function in capacity planning with Sales and Operations, bid planning, strategy and business development opportunities.
Established annual responsibility for orders totaling $17m of company revenue across New Construction and upgrade valve orders increasing overall shipped margins by 22% against sales GM through focus on change order management, cost reduction initiatives and supply chain negotiations. Responsible for project execution of turbine bypass valve systems in New Construction Power from order receipt to cash collection. Direct key account responsibility for Saudi Aramco, Zachry, Siemens, GE, CB&I, AECOM and FP&L. Coordinate projects and shipments across global internal manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia.
