Managed the Central planning, including: Overseeing planning operations and method development; liaising with clients, particularly the Registries and the Cabinets of Members, including negotiating the deadlines; managing document workflow; ensuring deadline compliance and utilizing the data and statistics for the data-driven decision-making; oversaw IT tool and process improvement actions. Managed translation outsourcing, including: Streamlining procedures and working methods; coordinating freelance workflows and framework contracts for linguistic services, ensuring compliance with financial regulations; overseeing public translation contract awards and negotiations with freelancers; advising on budget management for specific budget items in collaboration with senior management; participated in development, testing, and execution of the Court's first Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution for enhanced budget management (authorizing officer for annual budget of around 15 million euros), including SAP; facilitating audits and compliance checks with internal and external auditors. Supported General Management by: Engaging in EU interinstitutional cooperation forums. Assisting in the preparation of activity reports for the Directorate-General and the Court. Actively joining various EU interinstitutional working groups on key performance indicators (KPI), financial consultations, and translation outsourcing advisories. Additional Roles: Active member (alternate 2010-2019) of the Court's Advisory Committee on Public Contracts. Contributed to several committees for evaluating and opening Court and inter-institutional contracts. Led and participated in numerous working groups. Acted as the deputy representative on the Crisis Management Committee.

I analyzed EU policies on institutional reform and led the Task Force supporting Latvian representatives in the EU Convention on the Future of Europe. This included analyzing drafts, preparing positions, and coordinating with government institutions, national delegations, and NGOs to draft national positions. I also provided speechwriting and assistance to Latvia's representative, Ms. Sandra Kalniete, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and supported Latvian Parliament representatives. Additionally, I prepared reports for the Latvian Parliament's European Affairs Committee and the Council of Ministers, and managed the administrative operations of the unit.
Managed operational consular assistance, providing financial and legal support to Latvian citizens in emergencies abroad. Oversaw the Visa Information System at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and consular posts. Contributed as a member of the National Visa Working Group, supporting the implementation of the acquis communautaire and the Schengen Action Plan. Collaborated with EU experts through the Twinning program. Led the project for producing Latvian visa stickers compliant with European security standards, in partnership with Setec, a Finnish company. Facilitated operational cooperation with Latvia's honorary consuls.
Managed the embassy's consular section, providing comprehensive consular services such as visa processing, document translation/legalization, and notarial/civil act preparation. Oversaw embassy administrative operations, including accounting, budget planning/execution, and HR matters. Acted as the primary contact for security and safety, coordinating with relevant departments and managing infrastructure and fleet. Led the organization of large and small-scale diplomatic events, including national day celebrations and bilateral meetings. Was one of 10 Committee Member of the Helsinki Diplomatic Association. Key contributions include: Leading marketing initiatives to elevate our presence across 35+ countries, leveraging a fleet of 200+ trucks, with a focus on Latvia, Germany, Poland, and former CIS countries; enhancing international logistics efficiency through strategic project involvement; spearheading the integration of a centralized payment system across the Esso truck network in Poland and Germany; ensuring seamless communication with international partners by translating and interpreting between English and Latvian.
