Norbert has 30 years of global experience in commercial management and driving transformation in the hospitality, leisure, entertainment and travel industry. Prior to joining MSC as Executive Director Global Sales he supported the launch of Explora Journeys, the new luxury cruise line of MSC. Before joining MSC he worked for Cruise Saudi as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer creating and launching a brand new cruise line 'Aroya', completely dedicated to the Arabian market. Previous roles included Chief Commercial Officer for Qiddiya and Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing for Costa Cruises (part of Carnival). Norbert is also a Disney alumnus, and worked as Senior Vice President, Sales and Distribution at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, EMEA. Prior to entering the worlds of cruise ships and theme parks, Norbert was in aviation, with 14 years spent at KLM, the national Dutch airline. Norbert has a track record of turning businesses around, restructuring and enhancing company profitability build on clear strategic focus, flawless execution and people development.
