Besides working as a real estate manager, I am also creating ways how to digitalize the mostly paper-based office to enhance productivity.
At just 17 years of age, I took over my father's real estate business due to his declining health. Although officially employed as a helper/assistant, my responsibilities and tasks represented those of an owner/founder. I managed to turn his failing business into a profiting company. To achieve this, I had to learn and self-teach many important aspects of real estate ownership such as management, finding and keeping tenants, planing and overseeing small and big renovations alone or in tandem with civil engineers, carrying out repairs myself or in cooperation with professionals as well as budgeting and refinancing existing debt to further enhance profits. Whilst this was a steep learning curve full of challenges and also mistakes - especially in the beginning - this experience has allowed me to gain broad knowledge of the industry, from which I now benefit on a daily basis. Beside my industry knowledge, this has also helped me gain important skills like self-dependency, responsibility and time-management to name just a few.
To further enhance my real estate skill set, I joined Rustler in June 2023 as a junior real estate manager. In this role, I have deepened my understanding of Austrian tenancy and condominium law, learned best practices in real estate management, and developed key skills in teamwork and customer service.
