Hey, I’m Nolan Hornecker. I am a student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln majoring in Agricultural Business. My roots are in Wyoming, where I grew up on raising cattle, and that’s where I developed a drive to innovate in agriculture. At UNL, I’m active in the Engler Entrepreneurship Program, Block and Bridle, and other student organizations that give me opportunities to grow as a leader while building connections in the ag industry. My experiences range from hands on ranch management to developing business plans and exploring new ventures in ag tech, GIS, and energy markets. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between production agriculture and innovation, whether that’s through agriculture, livestock genetics, or creating tools that help producers make smarter, data-driven decisions. My goal is to combine my background in ranching with entrepreneurial insight to strengthen rural communities and the future of agriculture. I’m always excited to connect with others who share an interest in agribusiness, entrepreneurship, and the future of agriculture and energy.
