I am a logistics and operations professional in the shipping and maritime industry, currently working as a Transport Scheduler and serving as Second-in-Charge (2IC) for Depot Operations at Consort Express Lines in Port Moresby. I have hands-on experience in coordinating transport and cartage operations, managing cargo movements, and supporting the supervision of daily depot activities within a fast-paced shipping environment. My role focuses on optimizing transport planning, ensuring timely delivery of cargo, and maintaining efficient depot operations while upholding strict safety and operational standards. As 2IC, I support Depot Supervisors and act in a supervisory capacity when required. My responsibilities include billings, preparing Equipment Interchange Receipts (EIRs), verifying operational documentation such as ABCs and CRAs in CargoWise, and coordinating the release of containers in accordance with company procedures. I also ensure effective coordination between operational teams to maintain workflow efficiency and service reliability. My previous experience with PNG Customs Service strengthened my understanding of cargo examination, regulatory compliance, and port-side logistics operations. Combined with my academic background in Accounting and Management, I bring both analytical capability and practical operational insight into my work. I have also completed Front-Line Leadership Development Program(FLDP) for Steamships Limited, which have strengthened my capabilities in leadership, business acumen, organizational agility, and interpersonal effectiveness. The program has enhanced my ability to lead with confidence, collaborate effectively across teams, and contribute to operational excellence. I am passionate about continuous learning, operational improvement, and delivering exceptional service. As a recent graduate trainee I was with PNG Customs Service and was attached to the Container Examination Facility (CEF) at Motukea under compliance section, Southern Regional Operations for four (4) months.
As an internship trainee I was attached to PNG Customs Service for 8 weeks within the office of the chief commissioner (OOCC) with the economic and fiscal policy section.
