Curate and direct OK Electric, an electro-acoustic music festival presented through Living Arts of Tulsa. This two-day festival focuses on works from electro-acoustic concert music, multi-media and exploratory popular works. It has historically brought composers like John Cage, Pauline Oliveros and Annea Lockwood to Tulsa to present events. Recent guest artists include Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti, Scott Wollschleger, Warp Trio, Charles Halka, Amanda Gookin, and others. The 2018 festival will feature composer/violist Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti, and will include works by Lanzilotti, Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Scott Wollschleger and others. The festival will feature several world premieres by Lanzilotti, Wollschleger, Charlotte Dumesnil, Matt Magerkurth, and myself. 2017's festival featured music by Steve Reich, John Cage, Alexandra Gardner, Mary Kouyoumdjian, Angelica Negron, Charles Halka, Dråsa, and performances by NYC's Warp Trio, members of the Tulsa Symphony, Tulsa Camerata, composer/live MAX/MSP improvisor David Ikard, DJ Afistaface, among others. The festival included world premieres by Ryan Chase, Charlotte Dumesnil and Mitchell Highfill. 2016's festival brought works by Scott Wollschleger, Jacob TV, international (but locally-based) ambient label Unknown Tone Records, live improvisatory film scores by Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey's Chris Combs, lectures on Pierre Schaeffer and tape music of the classical avant-garde, and many others.
