Having started my career with roughly two years of experience as a Design Engineer at Genie, I am excitedly pursuing my MBA at Seattle University. My MBA focus is on business administration and management, providing me with the requisite skills to lead and manage complex projects that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. I value teamwork, collaboration, and customer focus. I strive to contribute to the mission and culture of any organization I work with, and enjoy being challenged by difficult tasks and diverse thinking. As a design engineer at Genie, a Terex brand, I was responsible for two individual options on the new S-60 J and the S-80 J boom lifts, including a hydraulic generator for welding capability, and design of an axle to support caterpillar treads (Trax). I performed design duties as part of the Genie AWP New Product Development team, working with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, testers, and suppliers. I applied my customer service, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Word skills to communicate effectively with internal and external parties, and to document and present my design work. I gained invaluable experience with managing complex projects and developed templates to help keep everything organized.
