About

I’m an Indiana University alumni with a degree in Marketing. Although a bit challenging, I can confidently say that I rose to the occasion and thrived there. I was able to do this because of my ability to project my confidence, take constructive criticism, and my problem-solving abilities. Projection of Confidence: After my friends bailed on me, I was stuck going to see a concert alone. On top of that, I was in a very unfamiliar city to me, but I was unfazed. I navigated through the city, weaved in the lines to get to the front, and was careful in the mosh pits. I had to trust myself and my abilities to stay safe. The experience gave me even more confidence in myself and will help me in my future career by being able to confidently take on any tasks that are needed of me. Take constructive criticism: I took graphic design classes during high school and learned valuable skills. Through this, I worked with my local library to design a logo for their summer reading program. Working with staff helped my ability to take constructive criticism. What I thought was a great logo, they didn’t. I had to take that criticism and change the design to something that they would be like. Problem-solving: Working as a camp counselor and on the front line at Jersey Mikes has helped me with problem-solving. Whether it's helping campers with minor issues or juggling online orders with in-person ones during the lunch rush. These experiences have taught me to think on my toes to keep everything running.
