Overseeing all web project activity. I will initially work with clients to plan out their event, timelines and quote based on requirements. I will then develop the solution and work on precuring additional resource (if needed) whilst managing the project to ensure it closes within the timescale/budget. This role includes: Procuring and working with third party software/hardware partners. Managing multiple projects at any given time. Driving stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth development within timescale. Developing client relations to drive repeat business. Organizing internal assets as to remain in budget.
Developing from a web designer into a unique hybrid role sitting between the development team and design team. My role was to ensure there was correct communication between the two teams and develop solutions based on each teams requirements. Medium term projects that require design input. Designing and implementing internal design improvements. Training new support web designers on internal systems and teaching the coding fundamentals required to complete the job. Managing DNS, server and hosting capabilities alongside data feeds.
From creating brand new websites through a bespoke design process to supporting with stock feeds to third party retailers. Heading up the back end portal design for our employees to access new features in the most efficient manner. Troubleshooting technical issues and investigating further, whilst prioritising which issues need the most attention any given day.
