Backend engineer building AI infrastructure and automation at scale. 2 YOE shipping production systems. At Oracle (OCI Corporate Networking) I scaled a network automation platform used by 100+ engineers, saving 25,000+ hours a year. To push automation to its next evolution, I led the build & deployment of Oracle's AI Agent Factory with my org - an internal LLM platform with master/sub-agent architectures, RAG, MCP, and multi-LLM orchestration. Earlier work spans NLP/ML pipelines over 13.5M+ records at NetApp, a CI/CD migration at ADT ($160K/year saved), full-stack on GCP via Google Tech Exchange, and founding engineer on a HIPAA-compliant health tech platform. On the side I am always building something new and fun! Focus: Backend, Platform, Cloud, Applied AI Stack: Python, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, OCI, GCP, LangChain, MCP, RAG
• Contributed to Oracle's global corporate network automation platform used daily by 100+ engineers and impacting ~160,000 employees, which collectively saved ~25,000 engineering hours annually. My work focused on creating and maintaining network automations using Python, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Bash, SQL, Linux, and Git. • Led the build and rollout of Oracle's AI Agent Factory, taking the org's automation from Python scripts to AI Agents. Designed master/sub-agent architectures, custom MCP servers, LangChain-style RAG pipelines over internal runbooks, OpenAPI tool discovery, and multi-LLM orchestration across OpenAI, Llama, Cohere, and Grok. • Built Device Commander, a cross-vendor automation framework enabling direct API-based integration with Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, and F5 hardware. Supports safe, standardized command execution at scale and eliminates manual configuration errors. Built in Python, REST APIs, and Jinja2. • Automated wired-port deactivation across 40,000+ devices and rolled out SHA-256 SSL/TLS certificate workflows to F5 load balancers, improving security posture, compliance coverage, and incident response times. • Owned production reliability across Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, Linux worker nodes, SQL databases, and Oracle APEX, including monitoring, debugging, root cause analysis, and uptime ownership. • Designed and built a Jenkins pipeline optimization using Podman container images stored in Oracle Artifact Registry to pre-package build dependencies - reducing per-run setup time from 2 minutes to 30 seconds across ~100 daily pipeline runs.
• Designed and deployed a full-stack HIPAA compliant platform (TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL) to enable medical professionals to analyze and qualify inbound patient opportunities. • Owned E2E development including REST API design, system architecture, backend services, React-based frontend UI, and deployment in a zero-to-one environment. • Translated ambiguous product requirements into production-ready features, iterating rapidly based on user needs and evolving direction. • Built scalable backend REST APIs and PostgreSQL data models using Supabase and Vercel to support real-time user interaction and analytics.
• Founded Miami’s top free social dog walking events community with a peak of 415+ followers and a monthly social media reach of ~5,000+ accounts as a side project to bring more of my local community together. • Established partnerships with local social clubs and companies to provide members with special events that support local causes and businesses.
• Reduced deployment costs by $160K by migrating legacy monthly releases to a 24/7 CI/CD pipeline using Harness, improving deployment frequency and reliability. • Managed Kubernetes infrastructure for dynamic scaling, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing cloud costs. • Drove a $100K cost-saving decision by analyzing static code analysis tools (Snyk, CodeScan) using Python, Pandas, and REST APIs to deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Led a 3-engineer team to ship a full-stack web application on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that helps users curb grocery overspending and stay aligned with their dietary goals. • Built the frontend in HTML, CSS, and Streamlit, with Python powering the backend logic and GCP services (BigQuery, IAM, Multi-Region Cloud Storage) handling data, access control, and storage. • Designed wireframes in Figma and ran sprint planning in Miro using Agile methodologies, keeping the team ahead of deadlines through clear task delegation. • Integrated geolocation and the Google Places API to surface local stores matching user requirements like cost and distance, displayed on an interactive map. • Generated personalized meal plans and powered in-app customer support using Google's Gemini LLM API.
