I am Noah Friedman. A current senior in high school, soon to be freshman at the University of Minnesota. I am interested in science and math and will pursue a degree in these fields. I currently work at micro center as a general sales associate where I combine my technical and social skills to deliver elite customer service and experience.
I worked in a nano fabrication lab focused on tunable twisted graphene structures as well as gate-defined nanostructures.
I gave customer's great service, led the kitchen during times of high stress, trained newly hired crewmembers, and ensured proper procedure for safety, speed, and quality.
I led a small group's learning of Pre-Calculus. I held office hours, graded paper, and most importantly led in class exercise to aid student's learning.
I received funding from the University of Minnesota's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. I am testing electrochemical treatments in manure to reduce Hydrogen Sulfide. This has taught me how to create on-site opportunities for myself, create models for use in experiments, and reading and writing research literature
I worked as a research assistant for a funded biochemical waste research. I furthered my laboratory skills and improved my analytical skills. I also got experience in running more complex experiments that require numerous tests. As part of my role, I also had to learn and pass a course of lab and chemical safety and processes.
I combined my technical and social skills to deliver elite customer experience while providing technical solutions. I was a top seller of protection plans, revenue per hour, and customers served per hour.
