I’m a recent accounting graduate currently working in a professional setting, where I apply my academic foundation to real-world financial processes and analysis. I’m passionate about accounting and business, with experience supporting financial operations, analyzing data, and improving efficiency. Known for being detail-oriented, efficient, and a clear communicator, I enjoy contributing to team success while continuing to grow my technical and professional skill set.
As a Sourcing Intern (Data Analyst) at Ascent Chemicals, I worked under the sourcing manager to develop proficiency in ERP systems, including Datacore and Deacom. I supported projects related to both indirect and direct expenditures, contributing to cost analysis and procurement efforts. Additionally, I conducted RFP analyses for packaging materials, helping evaluate vendor options and inform sourcing decisions.
During my time as an Accounting Intern at Ortho Molecular Products, I supported the accounting team by assisting with a range of tasks across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax functions. I independently worked on two projects, providing valuable insights and contributing support to the assistant controller and staff accountants. Additionally, I delivered a 30-minute presentation to the accounting department, where I outlined my responsibilities and highlighted key accomplishments and process improvements achieved over the course of the summer.
As a Systems Data Analyst at Sunset Logistics, I worked under the HR manager to develop proficiency in HR software, including Paycom, while supporting day-to-day administrative functions. I organized and maintained employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and accessibility of records. In addition, I collaborated with the controller to gather and analyze financial data, contributing to informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
