We built an Applied AI platform for our venture and growth equity businesses from 0 -> 1, including: - GTM data products for our incredible portfolio companies like Poolside, Deel, AlphaSense, Innovaccer, and Databricks - an investment research platform for agentic sourcing, competitive mapping, and diligence - leading deal work and investments in AI infra and application layer startups Some of my favorite technical learnings were in: econometric approaches for valuing baskets of contracts; graphical neural networks for embedding/classifying/clustering companies, people, and relationships; becoming a relatively early enterprise adopter of then-emerging platforms (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs, AWS Bedrock, etc).

  • Software Engineer at Citadel Securities
    Jun 2017 - Nov 2018 · 1 yr 6 mos

I spent most of my time as a C++ developer in high-frequency ETF trading at Citadel Securities. I owned our real-time risk models for hedging inverse and leveraged ETF trades, and contributed to our low-latency execution systems that powered our fully-automated active and passive trading strategies. I previously spent time on the hedge fund side of Citadel in various technical roles across systematic (GQS) and fundamental (Surveyor) strategies.
