I've always been drawn to what stays hidden: the systems, structures, and stories that shape how we live, yet rarely get named. With a background in Psychology and a Master's in Media Studies from Maastricht University, where I landed on a full scholarship, I found my way into research not through a straight line, but through genuine curiosity about people and what makes them feel seen, what leaves them behind, and what becomes possible when that changes. Today, I work as a Researcher and Critical Design Strategist. My practice sits at the intersection of ethnography, speculative design, and participatory methods, tools I use to surface invisible infrastructures and imagine alternatives to the systems that aren't working. I bring a user-centric, cross-cultural lens to questions of technology, labour, and equity, because those conversations have for too long been told from a single vantage point. My recent work includes researching the hidden costs and power dynamics of AI-generated music with AIxDesign, co-authoring a published report on the future of immersive music experiences, and delivering systemic redesign recommendations during my traineeship at the Digital Society School. I'm always looking for collaborators who work at the edges of culture, technology, and social change, who want to think carefully and build something meaningful together. If that sounds like you, I'd love to connect.
