Worked on the Alexa News team to build an immersive news experience for users powered by Alexa. Built systems responsible for storing users' news preferences so they can personalize their news experience. Also, worked on "Quick Questions by Alexa" which provides a personalized way of interacting with your favorite celebrities by asking them any question you'd like and listening to them answering their favorite picks on any Alexa-enabled device.
Led the scaling initiative for Amazon Locker generation and management processes in the backend systems. Designed sophisticated, efficient and secure solutions for various initiatives related to the Apartment Lockers provided by Amazon. Also, led the architecture design of Hub By Amazon's expansion and internationalization charter.
Worked on building offline maps used by transporters for navigation across North America while carrying out the last mile deliveries. In addition to this, built various features like skipping stops and returning packages to Lockers in the highly-available backend service responsible for vending out itineraries for the transporters in the Last Mile Delivery leg.
Revamped Snapdeal’s Help Center for website and mobile site,making it more interactive and responsive. Improved FAQ Search relevancy using Solr search platform. Integrated Omniture tracking to monitor and analyse user behaviour patterns. This facilitated reduction in customer calls by 7% and yielded better customer outcomes with self help pages.
