• 15+ years of experience in designing and building software using Microsoft technologies • Very strong financial industry experience covering areas from Mortgage, Financial Planning, General Insurance and Life & Pension. • Successfully implemented multiple projects for enterprise tier-1 banks from initial prototype, requirement gathering to post production support. • Experience in working with a diverse geographical location (U.K, India & Vietnam) teams • Extensive knowledge in performance analysis at presentation, application and database layers.
Started as a developer and progressed through to a technical consultant role and worked for various projects for various tier-1 financial firms. Projects Involved creating standard ASP.NET website, website using MVC 3 framework, AJAX.NET, JQUERY, writing services using WCF, writing workflows using WF3.5 with a SQL Server 2005/2008 database server. I spent 2 years developing Mortgage Sales and Originations (MSO) product from its initial prototype to complete implementation for nationwide building Society. As of today 1 in 4 mortgages in U.K. go through this system. I worked on most aspects of the implementation including, web based intermediary web site to capture applicant information (C#, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET), service layer (SOA, AOP, UML, C#, WCF, SQL Server) and automated Originations process orchestration layer (C#, WCF3.5, WF3.5, InRule). One of the key achievements was the design and implementation of a highly scalable core and MSO workflow framework built on WF3.5 and key framework WCF services and components which underpin the MSO Product. I spent further 6 months providing Live support for nationwide which involved embedding a brand new system in live, analysing and resolving performance and framework issue. I’m currently the technical lead for the Barclays implementation of the Mortgage Originations (MO) project. I lead the technical implementation which involved designing Originations requirements for Barclays, Key framework extensions, training and allocating work to offshore (Vietnam & India). I also ran recorded MSO technical training sessions to the Barclays Onsite team in London and Offshore team in India, so that Barclays are self-sufficient to support the MSO System. Development followed ALM using TFS 2010. I’m also currently involved in the design and implementation of the new version of MSO product which is being developed in .NET Framework 4.5. Using WCF4.5, WF4.5 & ASP.NET MVC 4.5
