Trying to make things simple i.e. "keep it simple." I’m a Computer Engineering student at AIT Pune (2022–2026) and currently a Data Engineer at SailPoint. My work focuses on building reliable, secure, and production-ready data systems. I work with Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Flink, and I also handle platform pieces like Docker, AWS, and CI/CD with Jenkins. Recently, I’ve worked on improving data quality and migration readiness (parity checks and tenant filtering), strengthening security (RSA key-pair auth with AWS SSM), and making pipelines more dependable with better pre-checks, observability, and CI gates. Alongside data engineering, I enjoy building full-stack applications and clean UIs using React, Node/Express, MongoDB, and Tailwind CSS, and I explore UI/UX with Figma and Canva. Beyond academics, I’ve taken leadership roles in college clubs—especially as Design & Website Head—where I’ve managed creatives, supported events, and worked on website experiences for smoother registrations and engagement. I’m also active in hackathons and competitions (multiple wins), and I enjoy fast-paced team environments where ownership and execution matter. Outside tech, I’m a volleyball player, a tea lover, and someone who enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Implemented passwordless Snowflake authentication using RSA key-pairs with credentials managed in AWS SSM, reducing secret exposure risk. Remediated critical container vulnerabilities by upgrading base Docker images and publishing hardened builds to Amazon ECR, unblocking multiple dependent Airflow DAGs. Strengthened data quality by applying get_valid_orgs tenant filtering and building a Snowflake DQ framework (30+ checks) to validate EDM v1 vs EDM v2 parity, enabling safe tenant-by-tenant migration with readiness scoring and clear cutover criteria. Also supported EDM 2.0 migration by creating EDM v2 SQL views compatible with existing EDM v1 consumers (dashboards/reports/services). Improved pipeline reliability by fixing false-green s3_to_kafka DAGs using Kafka pre-flight checks, secure configs via AWS Secrets Manager, improved observability, and CI gates. Validated Confluent Schema Registry adoption for Kafka topics consumed by saas-flink-datastream-dip and performed unit testing for Schema Registry WARN/ENFORCE across key fast-data topics. Built and maintained Jenkins CI pipelines to automate build/test/release for data platforms and container images, and authored engineering documentation (Glossary, Architecture & Design, Roadmap, Runbook, Best Practices) for ACL, Atlan, and EDM to improve onboarding and team alignment.
Led creative and technical efforts across four major college clubs, delivering consistent branding, 25+ event posters, and social media content. Managed Technical Board’s website operations — built dynamic event pages, handled registrations, and ensured seamless UI/UX.
Built responsive, mobile-first UI using React and Tailwind CSS, translating product requirements into clean, reusable components. Integrated the frontend with backend APIs to deliver real-time / dynamic user experiences and smooth data updates. Implemented state management, loading/error states, and edge-case handling to improve reliability and UX across devices.
