PhD in chemistry with >15 years’ experience as medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry working with small molecules, insulins and peptides in immunology, diabetes and cardiovascular indications, Proven track record with several clinical candidates sucessfully in the clinic. Broad knowledge of the entire drug discovery process and extensive experience as chemistry project leader with focus on driving projects towards the next milestone. Experience as project team leader with responsibility for coordinating and progressing activities across multiple disciplines including biology, pharmacology, formulation, toxicology and DMPK for small molecules as well as peptides. This role also included strategy planning and communication of results and progress to relevant stakeholders and review committees as well as cooperation management of external partnes and CRO’s.
