Handled Marketing, Sales and daily operations of the company. – Managed the ‘Customs House Agency’ vertical of the company, coordinating the wharf clerks with clients for a timely SL Customs clearance of both imports and exports. – Handled local purchasing for exports, and approved company quotations and invoices. – Launched a marketing campaign for companies’ organic foods vertical. – Initiated an ad-hoc audit for a client's ship's fuel transactions for 2023 financial year. – Substituted the Managing Director for 25+ BNI meetings.
Was accountable for the record-breaking growth & management of 1,000+ Sri Lankan seafarers in a fleet of 50 container ships (upto 18,000 teu’s) of the ‘CMA CGM International Shipping Company of France’ in collaboration with CMA Ships Singapore & Ceyline Group. – Was in‐charge of crewing for 10 ships of the international fleet. – Supervised and arranged 1,000+ employees to complete the required training, certification & regulations in accordance with Maritime Labour Convention & Sri Lankan Shipping Ministry. – Monitored those employees’ medical examinations and convalescence with the Doctors, hospital staff and the Protection and Indemnity society of the French headquarters. – Handled a segment of recruitment and selection & conducted interviews for ratings. – Was in‐charge of the company HRIS. – Prepared the monthly country report for the Singapore operational headquarters. – Revolutionized the company quality compliance procedure. – Networked worldwide, and maintained public relations with relevant academic and professional bodies, and ensured superior customer care. – Arranged 500+ visa applications. – Organized seminars & briefings and made numerous presentations to stakeholders. – Passed 5 consecutive annual global audits, conducted local audits & represented Sri Lanka twice at international key operational meetings in France and Ukraine.
