About

As Managing Director and Spokesperson of the International Siemens Foundation, I am committed to fostering a fair and just future for all. Together with my team and our partners, we focus on three pivotal fields of action: Essential Services, Digitality (Connected Societies), and Climate, with a regional emphasis on Europe, Africa, Latin America, and India. By working hand in hand with communities, organizations, and thought leaders, we amplify our efforts to create sustainable, scalable solutions tailored to the needs of those we serve. Whether it’s enabling access to clean energy, expanding digital opportunities, or strengthening climate resilience, we believe in the transformative power of shared innovation. My academic journey has been equally diverse: I studied German and English at the University of Hamburg, cultural studies at the University of Technology in Sydney, and economics at ESMT in Berlin, supplemented by executive programs at Harvard and Columbia Business Schools. Serving on international committees and boards of trustees has further deepened my understanding of global challenges and solutions. At Siemens Stiftung, we are united by a shared purpose: to work Together for Sustainable Social Development. This mission inspires me every day to contribute to a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
