I am on the UKRI funded project 'Made in Millbrook', which looks to using cultural led solutions for social development. As part of the project, I am writing a policy brief for local government about relevant intiatives taking place in Millbrook, Southampton.
I am an RA for the interdisciplinary project 'Mapping the Night' which studies the socioenvironmental effects of light pollution in Southampton city and engages policy stakeholders in the region.

I was employed as a proofreader by a postdoctoral researcher in film studies who was transitioning into writing in English. The researcher had been given funding by their university to spend on proofreading. I read and edited their academic work as well as funding applications and had regular meetings to practice language skills.
