I’m passionate about building and leading procurement organizations that drive profitable growth as well as unlocking people’s full potential. As Director Global Procurement Luxury, I lead the directs, indirects, marketing and excellence procurement teams (14 FTE) across Zurich, Shanghai, and New York for our luxury brands La Prairie and Chantecaille. My focus: shaping a high performance culture, positioning procurement as business partner, and delivering value that goes beyond savings. I bring strong experience in organizational transformation, building teams, aligning global structures, and delivering measurable impact. This includes driving cost efficiency, increasing procurement coverage, and strengthening governance in line with business priorities. My leadership approach combines a strong business mindset, analytical thinking, and a focus on people empowerment and close stakeholder collaboration.
Leading the global directs, indirects, marketing and excellence teams for our luxury brands La Prairie and Chantecaille with team members in Zurich, Shanghai and New York transforming the organization into a strategic procurement team, connected with the business, focusing on luxury specifics as well as leveraging the power of the Beiersdorf group in terms of negotiation leverage, systems, processes, development paths and organizational transformation. Leading a team of project managers who are responsible for key projects driving the strategic direction of our global procurement organization as well as driving efficiency and compliance by leading the Global Procurement Support Center based in Mumbai, India as well as Hamburg, Germany. Total 11 direct reports.
Leading the tactical buying center for D/CH based in Hamburg, Germany driving efficient P2P processes as well as the Global Procurement Support Center based in Mumbai, India enabling efficient operational support for our global procurement organization. Total 13 direct reports.
Global responsibility for 30+ 3rd party manufacturers for medical products for our brands Hansaplast, Elastoplast, Curitas. Driving reduction of complexity, leading negotiations (mainly single-sourcing), establishing professional supplier relationships and enabling product developments.
During my master studies, I was co-leading our own landscaping company offering Consulting, Landscaping projects for private households and institutions.
Development of my Master Thesis in the field of Global Logistics evaluating decision factors of supply chain management between air- and ocean transportation
Supporting the team of global category managers in the areas of tender execution, data analysis, management summaries, category development and communications between suppliers and global affiliates. During that time I also had the chance to develop the category of global air freight and lead the tender execution including negotiations and contract finalization. Part of the work could be done remotely during my semester abroad in Athens, Greece.
