• Providing direct plant support: resolving disruptions, optimizing production processes, and increasing the output of A-quality product. • Point of contact for other departments regarding questions about the production process
Responsible process engineer in the chemical compound department • Optimize and troubleshoot the production process of PVC and Low-Smoke-Zero-Halogen (LS0H) compounding lines by analyzing the daily process data • Daily cooperation with Production, Planning, Technical Department, Quality, and HSE • Cooperation with the R&D materials engineering for carrying out new compounding trials and testing of new raw materials used as cable and sheathing insulation • Training new operators and certifying them after completion of a task and a test • Writing documents like Standard Operating Procedures, compound recipes, operating manuals, and Memos for operators • Communicating with different suppliers to achieve the best quotation regarding a new project • Lead new CAPEX investment projects in the compound department (PVC scrap re-use, Premix installation, Industrialization of new compound DP99) resulting in a reduction in production costs
• Carry out experimental programs that allow for the gathering of required experimental data • Drawing the P&ID of the experimental setups in Visio Pro • Data analysis and interpretation; writing of run reports and presenting the work to colleagues and management • Contact with suppliers for ordering and maintenance of experimental equipment • Responsible for the safety in the workplace and in the analytical laboratory
