- Designed business models to identify the effect of different wind resources, space requirements, technologies and regulations in creating a business case for small wind turbines in urban areas. - Compared the small wind and PV systems’ energy and financial output and identified the optimum solution for different case studies. - Calculated the energy and financial benefits of small wind turbines compared to PV modules for increased electricity self-sufficiency in households.
- Set up guidelines and test requirements on safety and reliability for flexible building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. - Conducted experiments to determine the susceptibility of BIPV modules in sharp falling objects.
