I have successfully completed my studies at the Medical University in Sofia, Bulgaria and I am very interested in conducting a residency and specialist training in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Pediatrics. During my 6-year academic course, I gained in-depth knowledge and diverse clinical experience and was equiped with a comprehensive skillset in clinical diagostic and therapeutic practices and support, as well as academic research and medical data analysis. Eager to contribute to the health care field, I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in-depth medical knowledge and I aim to leverage a strong foundation in medical sciences and a continuous passion for learning. I am currently working as a member of the Board of Directors and as Vice President of the Society of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation (Εταιρία Νευροεπιστημών και Αποκατάστασης - Ε.Ν.Α.) and as Coordinator and Project Manager at two Therapy Centers founded and managed by the Society: 1. The Center of Mental Health and Art Therapy (Κέντρο Ημέρας Θεραπείας Μέσω Τέχνης - "ArtWave"), where we provide a supportive space for people experiencing mental health challenges to utilize the creative process to explore self-expression, gain insight, and develop new coping skills, via working with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, pshycologists and specialized art therapists. 2. The Center of Children and Adolescents with Mental Health Problems (Κέντρο Ημέρας Παιδιών και Εφήβων με Ψυχιατρικά και Ψυχοκοινωνικά Προβλήματα - "Podilato"), where, through various forms of therapy, we offer a safe and supportive environment for children and adolescents facing various forms of mental disorders, providing psychological support, therapeutic interventions, educational assistance, and counseling for families, with the primary aim the psychological support and social reintegration of youths, through the collaboration with a multidisciplinary team consisting of pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, speech therapists, special educators, and specialized occupational therapists.
I am a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the Society of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation (www.psychiatry.gr). I currently work at: 1. The Center for Mental Health and Art Therapy (Κέντρο Ημέρας Θεραπείας Μέσω Τέχνης - "ArtWave") 2. The Center of Children and Adolescents with Mental Health Problems (Κέντρο Ημέρας Παιδιών και Εφήβων με Ψυχιατρικά και Ψυχοκοινωνικά Προβλήματα - "Podilato") both of which were founded and managed by the Society of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation.
