🧢🎩🧢 IT professional with many hats, which is also practical because of my receding hairline. 🏭 I currently work at TeamViewer as a Product Owner. I am also collaborating with PD Neurotechnology, where we build innovative software and hardware for Parkinson's Disease patients. 💪 My strong points are problem solving, analyzing data to take decisions and inspire people to work towards my goals, satisfy strict KPIs, while staying within the strictest of regulations. In the past, I worked as a developer and QA engineer, gaining professional experience among others, in C#, Java, Databases and software lifecycle, and since the beginning of my professional career, as an educator in different levels. 👨🏫 Teaching is a passion for me and word on the street is that I am exceptionally good at it. I am proficient in interpersonal communication and know how to stick to schedules and budgets when possible, and adjust when I must. My years as an educator have sharpened my presentation skills and my ability to get my point across. 🔎 I have an inquiring mind and I like to analyze data. My research interests focus on computer systems’ application in healthcare, biomedical signal processing and machine learning. I enjoy developing applications to collect data, and finding meaning in these raw data by applying machine learning techniques. During my MSc I developed an agent-based model for tax evasion, with the twist of viewing the choice for tax evasion as a utility and driven by both financial profit and personal preference. 🎻 🥋I play the violin since I was 6 and I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and instructor.
