Washington DC-Baltimore Area
I am a Product Security Researcher at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where I actively discover and exploit vulnerabilities across a range of biotech products and platforms. I split my time between hands-on training with Hack The Box and in-depth research into prominent vulnerabilities affecting medical and diagnostic products. In this role, I sharpen my reporting and technical writing skills while applying penetration testing methodologies and collaborating with a dynamic team of ethical hackers with a combined 25 years of offensive security experience. I started my cybersecurity career as a SOC Analyst, and I had the opportunity to learn blue team skills to protect the vast Georgia Tech network while I completed my B.S. in Computational Media. I fell in love with cyber and I applied my skills as a software engineer to develop tools for cyber defense and analysis including web scrapers and machine learning classification algorithms for malicious domain detection. I would love to talk to folks new to the tech space including recent grads looking for advice. I'd also love to connect with any seasoned cybersecurity professionals and ethical hackers in the DMV area. Currently pursuing the Hack the Box Certified Web Exploitation Specialist (CWES) certification.
