About

As someone who thrives on building resilient cloud infrastructures, I find immense joy in transforming complex challenges into streamlined solutions. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad and continued with a Master’s in Information Technology from the University of New Hampshire. Along the way, I had the privilege of working at remarkable companies like Amazon, Verizon, and Cigna where I honed my skills in AWS and Azure environments. One of my proudest moments was during my time at Verizon when I redesigned our AWS backend architecture using EC2, ECS, S3, and RDS. This effort not only delivered a 25% reduction in monthly cloud infrastructure costs but also introduced lifecycle policies that made our operations significantly more efficient. Similarly, at Cigna Healthcare, I architected multi-environment Azure infrastructure which cut our environment spin-up time by ~60%. It’s these wins that fuel my passion for automation and efficiency. My experience isn’t just about numbers; it’s also about people. As a Graduate Assistant at the University System of NH, I enjoyed helping students navigate their coursework while promoting ethical practices in technology. This role taught me the value of collaboration—something I carry into every team environment. When I am not immersed in cloud technology or DevOps practices, you might find me volunteering to mentor aspiring engineers or experimenting with new tools to enhance productivity. Engaging with others who share this passion is truly rewarding. If you are looking to connect on cloud solutions or want to chat about how we can collaborate on innovative projects, feel free to drop me an email! Let’s explore the possibilities together. Skills: - AWS - Azure - Terraform - Kubernetes - CI/CD - Docker IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Ansible CI/CD & GitOps: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions Containers: Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker, Helm, Kustomize, Fargate Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell Observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor I am currently open to Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), and Platform Engineer roles remote or hybrid. • Cloud Engineer at Cigna Healthcare
    Dec 2024 - Dec 2025 · 1 yr 1 mo

As a DevOps Engineer at Cigna Healthcare, I had the opportunity to architect a multi-environment Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates. This initiative not only automated resource provisioning but also cut down environment spin-up time by around 60%. Designing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps was another exciting challenge; these pipelines facilitated zero-downtime deployments across microservices teams while incorporating build validation and automated testing processes. Managing production workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) was particularly rewarding as it allowed me to configure auto-scaling features while maintaining an impressive service uptime of over 99.9%. I also built a centralized observability platform with tools like Azure Monitor that enabled SLA-driven dashboards and automated alerts—this drastically reduced mean time to detection for production incidents. Additionally, I enforced secrets management protocols through Azure Key Vault integration which completely eliminated hardcoded credentials—achieving zero credential-related security violations. Leading the migration of legacy workloads onto modern platforms not only reduced infrastructure costs but also improved our deployment frequency from biweekly to continuous delivery cycles. My role as a Subject Matter Expert for Incident Response further honed my skills in addressing customer issues during on-call rotations. Skills: Cloud Infrastructure Design | Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment | Kubernetes Operations | Terraform Automation | Incident Response Expertise

  • Software Engineer Graduate Assistant at University System of NH
    Aug 2022 - Dec 2023 · 1 yr 5 mos

As a Software Engineer Graduate Assistant at the University System of NH, the focus was on enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency. Implementing comprehensive ITIL-based Incident Response procedures significantly improved the speed of issue resolution within the department. Managing user credentials for over 200 graduate students ensured secure access to essential resources while adhering to organizational policies. Additionally, booting operating systems and installing licensed applications on numerous devices led to a notable enhancement in security protocols. Assisting graduate students with their coursework not only fostered a supportive learning environment but also contributed to a measurable increase in course completion rates. This role was pivotal in developing both technical skills and a passion for helping others succeed in their academic journeys. Competencies: ITIL Implementation, User Credential Management, Application Installation & Configuration

  • DevOps Engineer at Verizon
    Jul 2021 - Aug 2022 · 1 yr 2 mos

As a DevOps Engineer at Verizon, the focus was on optimizing cloud infrastructure through innovative solutions. A major achievement was redesigning the AWS backend architecture using EC2, ECS, S3, and RDS. This effort led to a remarkable 25% reduction in monthly cloud costs by implementing right-sizing strategies. Building reusable Terraform modules allowed for consistent multi-environment deployments while cutting provisioning errors down to almost nothing. The role also involved creating efficient CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline that transformed our release cycles from days into just hours. Orchestrating Docker workloads on ECS ensured that high traffic demands were met reliably. Additionally, implementing centralized IAM practices not only improved security but also streamlined access management across services. Automation played a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency; routine EC2 maintenance tasks were automated via Python scripts which significantly reduced on-call responsibilities. Overall, this experience reinforced a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency in cloud operations. Skills: AWS Architecture Design, Terraform Automation Techniques, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Management

  • DevOps ML Data Associate at Amazon
    Mar 2020 - Aug 2021 · 1 yr 6 mos

During the time as a DevOps ML Data Associate at Amazon, the focus was on building robust cloud infrastructure solutions that could scale effectively. A modular Terraform codebase was created to provision essential AWS resources like EC2 and S3 across various environments. This not only streamlined deployments but also ensured they were auditable and repeatable. A significant part of the role involved engineering Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines that facilitated continuous delivery for diverse microservices teams. By integrating Docker image publishing and automated rollback strategies into these pipelines, the process became much more efficient. In addition to these tasks, custom CloudWatch dashboards were developed to monitor key performance indicators such as CPU usage. This proactive approach enabled quick incident response before any user impact occurred. Compliance was also a top priority; therefore, stringent IAM policies were implemented across production environments. The use of AWS Systems Manager allowed for automated patch management on EC2 fleets which drastically reduced operational overhead while maintaining system integrity. Furthermore, Python Lambda functions were created to automate resource tagging processes and alert notifications which improved overall system health visibility significantly. Skills: AWS Infrastructure Automation, Jenkins CI/CD Engineering, Terraform Provisioning
