For twenty years, I have redesigned work from inside the bones of organisations. A workforce expert and employment lawyer who built two London law firms from scratch and created departments where none existed. Rewrote roles, remuneration and leadership structures alongside the partners and CEOs running them. Today, I do that work alongside the leaders redesigning roles, leadership and workforce architecture for the Human + AI era. The technology is not the bottleneck. Job design is. I am Head of WORKWELL Europe, author of The Ownership Culture, and a speaker for FTSE 100 boards and global partners. How I got here: Around 2020 the conversation changed. I was advising organisations on wider workforce issues: disengagement; apathy; the new way of working. Not only to prevent employment claims from arising but to ensure organisations and the people within them continued to thrive. The workforce painpoints continue to evolve. Hierarchical pyramids being replaced by cylinder. The development ladder automated away with no plan for what replaces it. That gap is now my work. The through-line in everything I do is one belief: Everyone has a fundamental right to fall in love with their work. Co-founded, built and scaled a London multi-disciplinary law firm advising companies and individuals on employment, corporate, commercial and disputes matters. Acquired by Hugh James in May 2026. Across twelve years, I led the firm and the employment law practice, shaped the firm's culture, and redesigned roles, remuneration and leadership structures from inside the bones of an organisation.
