About

Howdy! I’m a Computer Science graduate from Texas A&M University with a passion for solving complex problems through technology. My journey began in elementary school, programming Lego Mindstorms robots for the First Lego League, and I’ve been hooked on turning code into tangible results ever since. Professionally, I’ve gained experience at companies like Salesforce and Southwest Airlines, where I worked on: Backend Development Designed and optimized systems using JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Python, with a focus on graph database architecture (AWS Neptune, Gremlin Query Language) to manage complex data relationships. DevOps & Infrastructure Spearheaded a high-stakes migration of all repositories from ATP Jenkins to a new Jenkins instance, navigating major technical constraints. Due to strict plugin restrictions in the new environment, I worked closely with a teammate to rebuild integrations and CI/CD workflows from the ground up—replacing heavily relied-upon plugin functionality with custom solutions. This months-long effort not only ensured a seamless transition but also improved system reliability and efficiency, significantly benefiting the team. Cloud & Database Solutions Built scalable systems using AWS Neptune and other AWS services. Frontend Development Developed responsive, user-friendly interfaces with ReactJS and CSS. I’m fascinated by the intersection of technology and human interaction and enjoy exploring fields like bioinformatics, human-computer interaction, and machine learning. Currently, I’m seeking a new role where I can contribute my technical skills and passion for problem-solving. If you’re looking for a motivated and versatile developer, feel free to reach out—I’d love to discuss how I can contribute to your team!

DevOps & CI/CD: Migrated 20+ repositories from ATP Jenkins to OPSSUITE Jenkins, replacing deprecated plugins with custom Groovy and build.gradle solutions. Automated jar link extraction to streamline deployments. Cloud & Serverless Solutions: Implemented AWS Lambda, Kinesis, EventBridge, and SNS/SQS for event-driven architectures. Developed a Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) solution for serverless Lambda functions, improving error handling and system resilience. Backend Development: Designed and maintained AWS Neptune graph database architecture using Gremlin Query Language, resolving defects like incorrect airport codes and daylight savings bugs to improve system reliability. Debugging & Incident Management: Resolved high-impact production issues, including a SIGTERM defect impacting AWS-run optimizers and Kubernetes deployment blockers. Conducted root cause analysis for intermittent bugs and documented findings. Monitoring & Alerts: Built Prometheus-based monitoring and Slack alerts for Kafka, EventBridge, and Lambda workflows, ensuring proactive issue detection. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partnered with teams to investigate data sources, implement routing configurations, and test complex crew logic scenarios. Created onboarding documentation to improve team ramp-up efficiency.
