Our lab aims to study how deficiencies in brain development have an impact on cognitive function and neural degeneration. Our focus is centered on the conditional knockout of the CC2D1A gene, which when mutated causes a spectrum of neuropsychiatric disorders including severe ID, ASD and seizures.
