• Execute ocean and ground freight pricing for import and export shipments, including FCL, LCL, and intermodal ground moves. • Manage, complete, and respond to RFPs and network pricing requests within assigned due dates or service level agreements for both new and existing customers across specific modes, products, or trade lanes. • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to maintain up-to-date pricing sheets for major ocean freight lanes, ensuring quick turnaround times for customer quotes. • Adjust quoting strategies in partnership with commercial leadership to improve closing ratios and overall quote effectiveness. • Monitor, maintain, and analyze quotation KPIs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proactive quote follow-up. • Strategically steer client ocean volumes to preferred carriers in alignment with company policies. • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Account Managers, and Operations to support pricing strategies for designated trade lanes (“power lanes”). • Report monthly to leadership on progress towards assigned goals and KPIs, offering insights and performance analysis. • Analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable pricing strategies and forecast future market trends. • Support the execution of global, regional, and national trade lane strategies, aligning with broader business objectives. • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership for optimizing network operations and strengthening market positioning. • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers while assisting in the onboarding and implementation of new suppliers to better meet client needs.
